Cheapflights comes to New Zealand
with launch of
dedicated site; www.Cheapflights.co.nz
Momondo Group, one of the world’s leading travel search companies, has extended its Cheapflights operation into New Zealand with the launch of a dedicated Kiwi site.
To celebrate the launch of www.cheapflights.co.nz the company is giving a New Zealand flavour to its network of international websites with a “Kiwi takeover”; exposing New Zealand tourism to millions of Cheapflights visitors and newsletter subscribers around the world.
This week Cheapflights sites around the world feature a range of New Zealand-themed content and images – and a fair smattering of Kiwi – encouraging visitors to find the cheapest airfares from all over the world to take in the scenery, cuisine and culture of New Zealand.
Recent bad weather in the UK and Europe has holidaymakers motivated to make a trip down to Middle Earth, especially when they are presented with so many travel experiences like this content from the UK site http://news.cheapflights.co.uk/introducing-cheapflights-new-zealand.
Momondo Group Chief Executive Hugo Burge said: “At Cheapflights we’re passionate about New Zealand as a destination – so it’s great to be up and running with a dedicated Kiwi site offering New Zealand visitors travel comparison, inspiration and great deals.
“For our launch we wanted to celebrate New Zealand across our network of sites – and we thought a Kiwi takeover of some of our other sites would be a great way of doing that; helping the world to explore New Zealand as well as, hopefully, helping New Zealanders explore the world.”
The cheapflights.co.nz site is the latest release for the consumer champion travel site, which searches and compares the web for the best flights and holiday deals.
Cheapflights has been operating successfully in Australia since 2009 where www.cheapflights.com.au serviced both Australian and New Zealand markets. Other Cheapflights sites include UK, USA, Canada, Germany, Spain, France, Italy and South Africa.
