Optimation expands Consulting practice with two senior appointments

Leading ICT provider Optimation has expanded its consulting capability with two new senior appointments. Jamie West joins Optimation as the Manager Consulting. Jamie’s role covers national leadership of the Consulting Business Unit, managing the Auckland consulting team, and leading Optimation’s Enterprise Architecture and Systems Architecture competency. Jamie brings strengths in Enterprise Architecture, IT Transformation and IT Strategy Planning, and delivery frameworks and methods. Most recently, he was running his own consulting business, Wero Consulting, working with companies such as IRD, Sovereign Insurance, Telecom and Vodafone. He has also established a NZ Architects community based on The Open Group’s TOGAF standards. Previously Jamie has worked with CapGemini in NZ, Australia and the UK, and with PWC.

David Morris (CBAP) has joined Optimation as Agile Practices Director, based in Auckland. David is an experienced senior practitioner in business analysis, agile, product development, and change management, and he specialises in achieving lean value-driven change. He is an active member of the IIBA and a Business Analysis Coach with the IIBA New Zealand chapter. Most recently, David was a Practice Consultant with Redvespa, where he provided coaching and consultant services in Agile Methods and BA Practice Development. His past work has included Business Analysis and Consulting engagements with companies such as BNZ, MSD, Telecom, 2Degrees and Sky.
