Media Release

Slingshot switches on Pay TV

Slingshot has partnered with IGLOO to bring kiwi households better deals on homeline, broadband and Pay Television packages, with the first offer set to go live on Sunday 14th of April.

The partnership of IGLOO, New Zealand’s low cost pay TV operator, with New Zealand’s largest 100 percent Kiwi owned and operated telco, brings a “whole of household” bundle at some of the best rates in the market.

Slingshot General Manager Scott Page says, “We are committed to providing Kiwis with competitive prices and superior service. New Zealanders can expect outstanding offers on their homeline, broadband and digital TV as we take on the big players in our local market.

“We’re focused on building a bigger and better network right across the country for all New Zealanders to enjoy. Slingshot is a locally owned and operated company and we understand what Kiwis want.”

Slingshot and IGLOO are promising customers a saving every month on homeline, broadband and premium television. IGLOO Acting GM David Joyce believes Kiwis will respond to their straight forward, great value approach.

“IGLOO offers customers something for everyone, with 11 premium channels and the option to choose from a large catalogue of on-demand movies and a hand-picked selection of pay-per-view sports events at the click of a button.

“It’s about giving New Zealanders choice they haven’t had before – more to watch than free-to-air TV, but a low cost pay TV alternative. It’s about great value and New Zealanders are responding positively to that.
