Kiwi Loss Across The Ditch

Migrant Flows

The net annual gain has risen above 1,000 and looks headed for between 5,000 and 10,000 – positive but not a boom. The number of expats returning to NZ was 178 higher in February this year than 2012, but the gain is less than 10% which is hardly surprising considering the high NZD. 372 words

The NZD is starting to consolidate in the 55 – 60 pence range and appears well supported against the greenback with a level of 90 cents possible within the coming year. The rising NZD will stay the hand of the Reserve Bank until late-2014 or even 2015. 606 words
