CHRISTCHURCH, New Zealand, 24 April, 2013 – NZ Tax Refunds, New Zealand’s leading online tax refund company, has teamed up with The Edge to offer the WooHoo of a lifetime - the chance to win one million dollars.  NZ Tax Refund’s current registered customers have an exclusive opportunity to secure one of three places in Fletch & Vaughan’s Million Dollar Beach Dig with NZ Tax Refunds next month.  The competition coincides with the opening of applications for tax refunds for the 2013 tax year.

On Sunday 12 May, 125 bags of ‘WooHoo’ will be buried at an Auckland beach.  124 bags will have a million cents inside, or ten thousand dollars, and one bag will have a million dollars inside.  All finalists will take part in a preliminary dig to determine the one person who gets to dig for the million dollars.
 
All registered customers of NZ Tax Refunds are automatically placed in a draw to win a place in the beach dig.  New clients who apply for tax refunds via www.nztaxrefunds.co.nz  for any tax years from 1st April 2007 to 31 March 2013 will also be in to win.

Entries for the million dollar beach dig via close Thursday 9 May.  Applications for places in the finals can also be made via The Edge’s website.  All finalists who don’t live in Auckland will be flown to the event.
