Lassoo forges ahead across the Tasman with Sleepmaker Win

Lassoo Media & PR has won the Sleepmaker media account in Australia adding another trans-tasman client to its portfolio.

The Comfort Group, which owns Sleepyhead and Sleepmaker amongst other brands, has partnered with Lassoo as it works to replicate the success it has had here over in the Australian market.

Lassoo has been representing Sleepyhead in New Zealand since 2010. The agency also strategizes and buys media for carpet maker Cavalier Bremworth and skincare company Trilogy in both New Zealand and Australia.

“Our partnership with Lassoo in both markets enables us to retain knowledge and key learnings as well as ensure best optimisation for campaigns in both Australia and New Zealand,” said The Comfort Group CEO Chris Taylor.

“Content marketing strategies, coupled with strong media buying and tactical campaigns that really dial up social engagement, have had a strong impact with the Sleepyhead brand and implementing this multi-layered approach with Sleepmaker will provide the building blocks we need.”

Breaking the norm, Lassoo won the New Zealand Trilogy media account in November last year after its appointment of their Australian media business in July.

Lassoo has represented Cavalier Bremworth in both markets for the past 5 years. Marketing Manager Desiree Keown said the co-ordinated media buying across both markets had resulted in a number of efficiencies, with better rates and value-added mentions than had previously been achieved.
