14 May 2013

Carryover MinutesTM on Prepay Plus – 2degrees continues the Fight for Fair

2degrees today launched Prepay Plus, the only Prepay plan in New Zealand that allows customers to keep their unused minutes for up to a year with new Carryover Value Packs. 2degrees is one of the first mobile companies in the world to offer Carryover Minutes using a Prepay technology platform.

Prepay Plus has three new Value Packs that contain Carryover Minutes;
$19 Carryover Minute Combo, with 50 NZ Carryover Minutes, All You Need Text (Fair Use Policy applies) and 50MB of National Data in one easy bundle
Carryover Chat 60, with 60 NZ Carryover Minutes for $8
Carryover Chat 200, which gives users 200 NZ Carryover Minutes for only $19.

Chief Marketing Officer, Malcolm Phillipps says mobile prices have fallen dramatically since 2degrees’ entry into the market and the company is continuing its focus on providing unparalleled value to its customers through smart ideas and fair pricing.

“Customers are using their mobiles now more than ever so it’s imperative they get value for money. Our new Carryover Packs on Prepay Plus mean customers don’t lose the minutes they have paid for just because a new month ticks over.”

Mr Phillipps says 2degrees’ suite of new products and services is just a taste of the future.

“The mobile world is changing at a rapid rate and products like Prepay Plus continue the 2degrees mission to keep New Zealand mobile users connected. Innovation is key and will play a huge role in the way kiwis, and their communities, keep in touch in the future.”

Earlier this year, 2degrees became the first mobile provider in New Zealand to launch full Carryover Plans on Pay Monthly, including Carryover DataTM. Launched in April, Carryover Plans let Pay Monthly customers keep their unused minutes and data for up to a year.
