Exceed Online brings global eCommerce provider to NZ

Exceed Online brings global eCommerce provider to New Zealand

Auckland, New Zealand - May 15, 2013 - Exceed Online, New Zealand’s leading eCommerce agency, is hosting the country’s first eCommerce Forum focusing on the world’s largest eCommerce platform - Magento.

Magento is an open source, flexible eCommerce platform which caters towards medium to enterprise level organisations. Some of New Zealand’s most well-known companies are using the Magento Platform, including Hunting & Fishing, Number 1 Shoes, Bendon Lingerie & The Shopping Channel.

Kyle Aspinall, Managing Director of Exceed Online says “It’s time for New Zealand businesses to take eCommerce seriously and help drive the industry forward. Our goal is to use Magento’s international expertise and knowledge of the industry to show New Zealand organisations that it doesn’t have to be as hard as they are lead to believe to make selling their products online easier and more affordable than bricks and mortar retail stores”. Aspinall started Exceed Online 8 years ago, using his experience in the USA market to guide the New Zealand industry forward.

“It’s not been easy” he jokes, “America is about 5 years ahead of New Zealand when it comes to eCommerce, with consumers and organisations jumping onboard at an alarming pace”. By bringing Magento to New Zealand, Exceed Online’s goal is to demonstrate the value of eCommerce to a business. “By no means do we want to make this process sound easy. Moving online can be a daunting task that can either make or break a company. We just want to make New Zealand companies aware that this is the next step for growth and unless they are seriously thinking about their online strategy they could well be going the way of the dinosaur”.
