The Beatles - Liverpool, UK
The Beatles Story is located in the world heritage-listed Albert Dock in Liverpool.  As well as displaying memorabilia of everything Beatles-related, visitors can join a number of tours, including a city and water tour on the Yellow Duckmarine, the Magical Mystery Coach tour – plus the new John Lennon Educational Tour Bus launched by Yoko Ono last week.

Johnny Cash - Nashville, USA
The Johnny Cash Museum in Nashville, Tennessee opened its doors in April, as a tribute to the Man in Black.  The museum is authorised by the estate of Johnny Cash and features the largest collection of Johnny Cash artifacts and memorabilia in the world.

Willie Nelson - Nashville, USA
The Willie Nelson General Store opened in Nashville, Tennessee more than 30 years ago and features hundreds of personal items of not only Willie Nelson but also some of his friends like Patsy Cline, Dolly Parton and Waylon Jennings among others.  It’s a country music lover’s delight.

Elvis Presley - Memphis, USA
The holy grail for Elvis fans is Graceland in Memphis, Tennessee.  The 14-acre estate lets visitors check out the mansion, the trophy building which houses and amazing collection of Elvis’s gold and platinum records, a car museum with the King’s 33 cars and his private jets. New exhibits added this year include a display of jumpsuits worn in Las Vegas – and a collection of his Hawaiian memorability to celebrate the 40 year anniversary of “Aloha from Hawaii”.    The final stop on the Graceland tour is the meditation garden where Elvis and members of his family have been laid to rest.

The Ramones - Berlin, GERMANY
It seems a bit strange that the museum honouring American band, The Ramones is in Germany.  The Ramones Museum and Bar in Berlin, was established by a fan in 2005, one year after the death of Johnny Ramone.  Not only does it display the largest collection of The Ramones memorabilia, it is a popular venue for live bands from all over the globe. 

Bob Marley - Kingston, JAMAICA
The Bob Marley Museum in Kingston, Jamaica, is located in the legendary musician’s home.  His wife Rita Marley converted the house to a museum in the 1980’s to display Bob Marley’s personal treasures, photography collection and showcase films in an 80-seat theatre.

Rock & Roll Hall of Fame - Cleveland, USA
The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland, Ohio features seven floors of everything rock and roll.   The exhibits vary from one-hit wonders to the songs and artists that shaped the history of rock and roll.  The newest exhibit, Rolling Stones: 50 Years of Satisfaction opens on May 24.
