Heads up small to medium business owners – Astill Hawke & Associates have a great opportunity to develop your skills, motivation and business smarts to stay one step ahead of the competition.

The chartered accountants are looking for an entrepreneur who wants to push their business to a higher level but may not have the resources to invest in growth right now.

Director Kirsten Hawke wants organisations, businesses and friends of budding tycoons to nominate company owners that have plenty of potential and with further learning they will thrive.

“We’re giving away one spot in our upcoming Business Buddy Growth Programme to a local business that has got the entrepreneurial X-factor,” says Mrs Hawke.

“We won’t expect them to sing or dance, unless that’s their core business, but we do want them to be bursting with enthusiasm to grow their business.”

Candidates must own their business, be interested in new technology that will maximise business performance, have exceptional business integrity and dream of taking Fridays off.

The business could be anything from an electrician to an ecommerce enterprise or an early childhood centre.

Business Buddy Growth Programme includes a monthly workshop for 12 months, which covers topics such as marketing, cloud-based software, cash flow, strategic planning, and risk and succession planning.

Business people are investing $150/per month(+GST) to enrol in the programme but the most deserving recipient will win the total experience, valued at $1,800.

The first 1.5-hour workshop in the Business Buddy Growth Programme launches at 8am on Tuesday June 18.
