Wellington hotel gives a local tourism boost

Wellington hotel gives a local tourism boost with customer service excellence: TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence Awards

Six Best Western hotels across New Zealand have been awarded a 2013 Certificate of Excellence by the world's largest travel site, TripAdvisor®.

BEST WESTERN Wellington property managers, Mark and Helen Toner said it is delightful to know guests had voted their property in the top 10% of accommodation providers on TripAdvisor.

“This award can only be achieved by all of our staff who each day go above and beyond to provide the best possible experience for all of our guests and families,” Mark said.

“We are so grateful that our guests comment on TripAdvisor and thank every person who took the time to make a review.”

Ideally located in Wellington in the northern suburb of Johnsonville, Mark said he is busy getting ready for an avalanche of guests who traditionally arrive to experience the region’s local music and arts, and Te Papa, New Zealand’s bold and innovative national museum. “We love looking after our guests and during their stay with us, we offer them our local secrets and advice to help them discover the very best tourism experiences and restaurant dining this cultural region offers,” Mark said.

Best Western’s New Zealand Brand Development Manager and former All Black, Grant Batty said motel managers take pride in delivering a warm, friendly customer service experience for all their guests.

“This is a timely achievement for all the Best Western TripAdvisor winners, especially leading up to New Zealand’s booming winter ski season,” Grant said.
