Kiwiyo Franchise Regional Expansion
Kiwiyo Franchise Regional Expansion
Self-serve frozen yoghurt retailer KiwiYo is looking to open franchise stores throughout regional centers across New Zealand including Hamilton, Taupo, Rotorua, Tauranga, Wellington, New Plymouth, Napier, Palmerston North, Nelson, Christchurch, Queenstown, Dunedin and Invercargill.
Starting only 18 months ago, KiwiYo’s innovative interactive self-serve food concept, originating in Mission Bay Auckland, has generated a large loyal following with store customers and online, via a creative approach to social media including an in-store camera booth where patrons can upload their image instantly via Facebook.
In a very short time, KiwiYo has opened locations across Auckland including Mission Bay, Botany Town Centre, Takapuna, and Manukau, with Sylvia Park and Bayfair in Tauranga opening in late June/early July.
KiwiYo’s clean, bright, friendly atmosphere allows customers to get creative and indulge in a delicious frozen yoghurt creation. KiwiYo is great for teenagers, creating a fun, safe environment to meet and socialise. It’s popular with families too.
How does KiwiYo work? Simply select a cup or cone, then choose from 10 different frozen yoghurt flavours and serve as much as you like of any combination from the self-serve machines. Next, make your way to the toppings bar and dish out spoonfuls of various toppings including healthy fruit, nuts and sauces or treat yourself to candy, chocolate, old-fashioned Kiwi lollies or a wide choice of sprinkles. When your own frozen yoghurt creation is finished, simply weigh and pay. A fun food experience with the added health benefits of probiotics and live cultures.
KiwiYo changes the frozen yoghurt flavours on a weekly basis, which are updated on their website and social media pages. The delicious yoghurt options include amazing flavours such as Chocolate – Low Fat, Pralines ‘n Cream – 98% Fat Free, and Pink Lemonade – Sorbet.
KiwiYo has used commercial real estate agents in a number of regions to locate or secure premium retail sites and is now seeking suitable individuals or investors with the right experience, attitude and ethics to secure the out-of-Auckland franchises.
KiwiYo’s goals are to create numerous local
jobs – particularly for students – and to use local
suppliers when possible; stimulate the local economy and
make a genuine, long term contribution to the community. For
example, in Auckland, KiwiYo has created over 90 jobs with
excellent career paths available for outstanding staff.
