Kiwibank Facilitates New Insurance Policies

25 July 2013

MEDIA RELEASE

Kiwibank Facilitates New Insurance Policies In Wellington & Marlborough

Kiwibank remains committed to customers by accepting applications for new business in Central New Zealand including the Wellington and Marlborough regions.

Immediately following the quakes, some insurers declared an exclusion zone covering Wellington and Marlborough – the areas most severely affected by the quakes.

Kiwibank’s Head of Insurance, David Chamberlain, said an exclusion zone severely affects the ability of people to buy and sell houses and to have adequate security in the event of further quakes.

Mr Chamberlain said Kiwibank can facilitate new house insurance policies in these regions.
