FCm New Zealand Celebrates Global Win

FCm Travel Solutions New Zealand has delivered a global win after officially being appointed the travel management company for Fonterra worldwide.

The comprehensive tender process was competitively bid for by all major players in the travel management market, covering travel management services, online booking tools, travel management policies and reporting.

Simon McKearney, general manager of corporate, is delighted with the outcome and credits FCm’s complete value proposition for delivering the win.

“This is a great global achievement for FCm New Zealand. Our pitch centered around our focus of challenging existing processes, encouraging innovation and helping businesses change for the better. As part of this, we pitched a brand new online booking tool, which is incredibly user friendly, driving a highly interactive process.

“Our technology combined with the service proposition of FCm, compliments Fonterra’s objective of spend efficiency, which made for a winning pitch.”

Mr McKearney also believes that FCm’s dedicated multinational travel teams were a crucial factor, ensuring that Fonterra will receive the local support required by a multi-market company.

“FCm has a rapidly growing portfolio of multinational customers and we are very proactive in creating dedicated multinational travel teams to ensure that our clients receive the local support that they need. With the global reach of FCm, it will assist Fonterra in achieving their own growth objectives, while allowing us to be on the ground where they are.
