New Zealand King Salmon relocates Customer Service Centre to Nelson
New Zealand King Salmon has today confirmed a decision to relocate its Customer Service Centre from Auckland to Nelson.
Grant Rosewarne, Chief Executive Officer of New Zealand King Salmon says “Our Company supports the Nelson City Council's vision to promote Nelson as an ideal location to set up customer service centres”. He continues “This fantastic city is able to attract good quality people and because our head office is in Nelson, having the customer service centre operate alongside it will bring operational efficiencies.”
Craig Smith, who joins a highly qualified management team, many of whom have been attracted to Nelson from overseas and Auckland because of the work lifestyle balance that Nelson offers, will oversee the Customer Service Centre.
Mayor Aldo Miccio met with New Zealand King Salmon management last week to congratulate them on their positive vision and success in bringing new job opportunities to Nelson. He says “It’s fantastic to see companies like New Zealand King Salmon taking the lead in providing pathways and opportunities for future generations, it’s decisions like this that will ensure our local economy continues to thrive”.
The New Zealand King Salmon Customer Service Centre is due to open on the 30th of September and will initially provide employment for seven people. The company expects significant growth over the next 5 years once new farm water space becomes available in the Marlborough Sounds.
