Petrol drops 2c? Not quite matching Gull yet

Majors drop prices to almost match Gull

Auckland, 2 October 2013 – Gull, the independent family owned fuel retailer welcomed today’s drop of 2c a litre on petrol some of the oil majors. This puts the major oil companies within cooee of where Gull’s network has been priced for the last few days.

Dave Bodger, Gull New Zealand General Manager says that Gull believes in providing value for money to the Kiwi motorist.

“All the Gull service stations where Gull sets the pump price were already trading below today’s new price of $2.149 a litre on unleaded 91 octane.

“Our highest price for 91 octane is $2.139. Gull’s expanding network of unmanned sites offer additional savings with prices as low as $2.059 a litre.

“Motorists can save further while experiencing the convenience of pay at the pump technology.”

Gull remains committed to providing best value to the Kiwi motorist. The company’s expanding network of sites will ensure that this continues to be the case by way of the well documented Gull effect that sees big oil drop prices to match Gull wherever they compete in close vicinity.
