Treasury publishes register of gifts and hospitality

Treasury publishes register of gifts and hospitality

The Treasury has released information about hospitality and gifts accepted by staff in the year to the end of June 2013.

The information is here: Treasury Gifts and Hospitality Register Information Release

The Treasury's policy is that gifts offered to staff in their work capacity will not be accepted unless the gift has a value less than $50 or refusal would cause embarrassment or offence, and hospitality will not be accepted unless the business benefit to the Treasury exceeds any private benefit.

Any changes to the policy will be published on the Treasury website.

The full Treasury policy on gifts and hospitality is available here: tsy-gift-policy-oct11.pdf (137 KB)
