The cook needs to enjoy the festivities too
Christmas dinner is a hassle, right? Not so according to My Food Bag.
The food home delivery service is assembling a special easy-to-prepare festive season feast in response to demand from My Food Bag foodies.
The three-course My Christmas Food Bag menu features canapés, mains, sides and desserts enough to sate even the deepest yuletide cravings. Plus, it includes a step-by-step preparation plan to feed eight for only $289.
My Food Bag chef Nadia Lim says the aim is to free up the cook to enjoy Christmas dinner without the stress often associated with the food preparation.
“Anyone who’s had the family over for Christmas lunch or dinner knows how it can be a mammoth undertaking. We think it needs de-stressing,” Nadia says.
My Food Bag subscribers who order the festive feast receive a step-by-step preparation plan, easy-to-follow recipes and high quality ingredients – free range turkey and ham included - delivered to the door.
“This is seriously the easiest menu you’ll have ever tried for Christmas,” Nadia says. “The cook’s plan lists what can be prepared two days in advance, a day in advance, on the morning and just before serving.
“By ensuring all the prep is done in order you simply take away the stress. And it’s easy. I tried it; I can make this menu in two hours.”
My Christmas Food Bag orders are available from 1 November for delivery 22 and 23 of December. Go to www.myfoodbag.co.nz/order.
