Westpac Hawke’s Bay Business of the Year is Radius Medical Solutions

Radius Medical Solutions Ltd has been named the 2013 Westpac Business of the Year at the Westpac Hawke’s Bay Chamber of Commerce Business Awards held at the Hawke’s Bay Opera House.

The business was awarded the Pan Pac Large Business Award category and the Westpac Business of the Year Supreme Award at the black tie event, with the trophies accepted by Radius CEO Adri Isbister.

In a hat trick for the company, Adri Isbister was also awarded the Westpac Excellence in Business Leadership Award.

Radius Medical Solutions provide business performance and compliance support services to 28 New Zealand medical centres, with the head office in Napier.
The judges described Radius Medical as a totally dedicated team who, in the past three years, have more than doubled net profit, increased customer numbers by 40% and grown the business with a balanced combination of acquisition and organic growth.

“The Radius customer and staff focus was also a standout feature of a culture of transparency and strong shared systems."

FPG Group CEO Robert Darroch was named the Hawke’s Bay Today Business Person of the year.

FPG are internationally recognized as a leader in turn-key retail store development, partnering with the world’s leading food retail and hospitality brands across 25 countries. Mr Darroch is on the board of Business Hawke’s Bay and was one of the key drivers responsible for bringing business growth organization The Icehouse to Hawke’s Bay.

The Awards were attended by more than 350 business leaders including the MP for TukiTuki and Minister of Commerce, Craig Foss.
