The Coffee Club Bethlehem Takes Out Yet Another Prestigious New Zealand Business Award
The Coffee Club Bethlehem is fast becoming a multiple award winning café. Franchise holder, Ivy Joe has been named the winner of the 2013 Westpac Tauranga Small Business Awards. The announcement was made at an exclusive awards dinner on 1 November.
“It doesn’t seem real,” says Ivy. “I am very proud and pleased to have won our local business awards against some very stiff competition. It’s a great sign that we’re on the right track with how we’re running the café and it is a wonderful morale booster for our hard-working employees as well.”
This is just the latest in a long string of successes. Last year, Ivy was awarded Food and Beverage Franchisee of the Year in the 2012/2013 Westpac New Zealand Franchise Awards, going on to claim Supreme Franchisee of the Year. She has been short listed for the same award this year with the results due to be announced on Saturday 16 November.
Ivy originally owned her own business, with husband William. Both originally from Guangzhou, they established a Chinese restaurant and a café in New Zealand before deciding they wanted to try something different. They approached The Coffee Club after seeing how well the brand was doing in Australia.
“We are extremely proud of Ivy. She maintains the highest standards with everything from customer service to the food and drinks that are served,” says The Coffee Club Director, Andy Lucas. “It’s wonderful to see her being recognised for the hard work she’s putting into running a successful, widely recognised business. This award is very well deserved.”
The Coffee Club stores can be found throughout the North and South Islands.
