Three Keys Presents Linda Jenkinson

15 November 2013

Three Keys feel privileged to present Linda Jenkinson, a Superwoman of the global business world, on November 28, 2013.

With an extensive trail of business world domination synonymous with her name, Linda has made her mark in San Francisco with the creation of three multimillion-dollar companies. Perhaps what is even greater is that Linda originates from Palmerston North.

Linda works in a market where she is frequently rubbing shoulders with the big wigs of the Silicon Valley, including founders of Twitter and Yahoo. Her knack for business also sees her mentor those who wish to follow in her footsteps. It seems that everything Linda puts her hands to, she enhances. This Massey University sponsored event, promises to be one not to miss.

Born and bred in the good old Manawatu, Linda studied a Bachelor of Business at Massey University, prior to completing her MBA at the University of Pennsylvania. Combining her business knowledge and natural fearless attitude, Linda was destined for great things.

The first of her multi-million dollar companies was Dispatch Management Service (DMS), an international transport service company. Created in New Zealand, Linda grew DMS into a global company worth $388 million. DMS made Linda the first New Zealand woman to successfully take a company public on the NASDEC in the US.

In 2000, Linda started iSaySo and then acquired LesConcierges, a concierge service company that wasn’t doing so well. She completely turned the company around, making it the largest luxury corporate concierge company in the world.

Linda has started a venture of a different kind. WOW, meaning “yes” in the primary language of Senegal, West Africa, was an organisation that grew women owned SME businesses in West Africa. WOW was a social venture (a mix of for profit and non-profit) that created a unique approach to support small and medium sized enterprises who have a lack of access to capital, networks and business expertise.

Three Keys is a networking event that is different - listening to innovative Kiwis in a relaxed social environment. It not only provides opportunities to meet others, Three Keys also inspires the audience to identify potential opportunities in our community.

Linda is the second speaker of six in the 2013-14 Three Keys series. Previous speakers have included; Noah Hickey, Sam Johnson, Jamie Fitzgerald and John Key. Tickets for this event and season memberships can be bought online via www.3keys.co.nz

Three Keys presents Linda Jenkinson
Thursday 28 November, 3.30 - 6pm, Hotel Coachman, 140 Fitzherbert Avenue Palmerston North
