Life Insurance Brokers Provide Unique Service

Life Insurance Brokers Provide Unique Service

The Portfolio Company Ltd is now providing consumers with an insurance brokering service together with access to discounted life insurance premiums through their website http://www.desmorgan.co.nz

Des Morgan Director of the Portfolio Company Ltd said “this service is combining the best of both worlds by utilising the internet to enable the client to complete their own needs analysis by going online through sites like Consumer and comparing premium options with sites like Trade Me’s Life Direct
Once they have completed their own due diligence the consumer can take advantage of substantial savings (which can be thousands of dollars over the life of the policy) by purchasing their life insurance via their site. The Portfolio Company Ltd reduces its brokerage (commission) paid by the insurer by 50% which is then passed on to the consumer which has the effect of reducing their premiums by around 10% for the life of the policy.

Consumers can arrange an online meeting with Des through “Skype” or “Go to Meeting” to answer any questions they may have and an online presentation can be made using this technology.

Des said “The Portfolio Company Ltd has historically offered a no advice online discounted life insurance service but found that whilst consumers were appreciative of the competitive premium rates a lot of applications never completed due to the fact that consumers felt more comfortable having access to a person they could talk to.”
