Rabobank sponsors TVNZ’s
Rural Delivery programme
Agribusiness banking specialist Rabobank has been named as the exclusive 2014 sponsor of TVNZ’s Rural Delivery programme.
The highly-regarded national weekly rural programme, broadcast on TV ONE and TVNZ’s Heartland channel, has been on New Zealand screens since 2005, however this is the first year it has been available for sponsorship.
Rabobank New Zealand CEO Ben Russell said the sponsorship was a natural partnership for Rabobank. As the world’s leading specialist food and agribusiness bank and one New Zealand’s largest rural banks, Rabobank is focussed on supporting individual clients and the wider industry with quality knowledge about farming excellence and innovation.
“Rabobank and Rural Delivery share a commitment to developing New Zealand agriculture through the provision of expert global and local research and information on market trends and innovative farm practices that will help on-farm productivity and the profitability for the sector,” he said.
“Rabobank also has a strong desire to help enhance the connection between the rural sector and all New Zealanders. Rural Delivery has a proven track record in presenting credible information to the community about farming in an enjoyable and entertaining format.”
TVNZ Head of Sales and Marketing, Jeremy O’Brien said: “Rabobank is the ideal fit for Rural Delivery and we’re delighted to have them on board”.
The programme airs weekly on Saturdays at 7am on TV ONE and is repeated on Sundays and Mondays on Heartland. It is also available via TVNZ Ondemand.
