SKYCITY scoops two World Travel Awards
SKYCITY Auckland continues its success at the 2014 World
Travel Awards, winning both the Leading Hotel Suite (Grand
Hotel Presidential Suite) and Australasia’s Leading Casino
Resort.
SKYCITY Auckland General Manager Hotels, Bradley Burnett, says the Awards recognise the world-class facilities and services SKYCITY has to offer.
“Our Presidential Suites are the ultimate luxury experience for business or pleasure, and we pride ourselves on the superior experience we give our guests,” says Mr Burnett.
“SKYCITY Auckland has it all. Alongside top-quality Casino entertainment, there is plenty to explore. Visitors can dine at award-winning eateries along Federal Street, head to SKYCITY Theatre and see top performers from New Zealand and abroad, or take a trip up the Sky Tower, one of New Zealand’s leading tourist attractions.”
“We are always working on a better experience for our customers, whether that be new ‘premium luxury’ accommodation options in the SKYCITY Grand, or offering free wifi access across the site for all our guests.”
These awards build on previous success for SKYCITY Grand Hotel which won New Zealand’s Best Business Hotel at the 2013 World Travel Awards. Earlier this year SKYCITY Grand Hotel won a Traveller’s Choice Award, and both SKYCITY Grand Hotel and SKYCITY Hotel were awarded Certificates of Excellence from TripAdvisor.
SKYCITY Auckland has two award-winning hotels on site, SKYCITY Grand Hotel which has a Qualmark 5 star rating, and SKYCITY Hotel which has a Qualmark 4.5 star rating.
