Spark announces operator exclusive pre-order of Sony Xperia™ Z3 and Z3 Compact

Spark announced today that it is now accepting pre-orders for the new Sony Xperia Z3 and Z3 Compact online at www.spark.co.nz, and is also running two giveaways alongside the launch – one for people who pre-order online and the other for people who buy in-store.

The phones are operator exclusive to Spark and customers have the choice of two sizes without compromising performance or features. The 5.2 inch Z3 and the 4.6 inch Z3 Compact are both powered by the same chip, have the same great 20.7 megapixel camera, are waterproof to 1.5m and dust-tight (IP65/68),4 and both have exceptional battery life, delivering up to two days of usage.

In addition, both the Z3 and Z3 Compact also support Remote Play for PlayStation 4, allowing you to use your phone as a screen for your PS4 when you’re on your home Wi-Fi.5 To celebrate the launch, Spark will be giving away PS4 consoles worth $649.95 to the first 35 customers who pre-order the Z3 on a Ultra Mobile 24 month contract online.

Customers who purchase either the Z3 or Z3 Compact from any Spark Retail Store between 28 October and 2nd February 2015 will also automatically go in the draw to win one of three Sony entertainment packages with a Sony Bravia 50" W800 series, an HTCCT370 Sound Bar and Sub, a PS4, and a Xperia Z2 Tablet 16GB, worth almost $4000.

The Sony Xperia Z3 and Z3 Compact will be launching on 28 October and will be fully compatible with Spark’s fast 4G network, including on the 700Mhz spectrum. The Z3 will retail outright at $999 the Z3 Compact at $749.
