Jasmax Announces Senior Leadership Changes

Jasmax is pleased to announce Alasdair Hood and Shirley Chin as National Leaders of the Interiors team, with effect from 1 November.

The Jasmax Interior Design team operates nationally from its four studios in Auckland, Tauranga, Wellington and Christchurch. In these National roles, Alasdair and Shirley will focus on design leadership and national studio leadership respectively, bringing a focus to the practice that will enhance design and delivery outcomes for clients.

Three Regional Leaders, Harry Rowntree (Auckland), Shauna Herminghouse (Wellington) and Jerad Tinnin (Christchurch), have also been appointed.

Managing Principal Marko den Breems comments, “This organisational change is reflective of Jasmax’s evolving interior design business. It is an opportunity to expand the team’s scope and expertise, and refine our capabilities in order to continue to deliver a high quality of design and service to our clients.”

“These changes will work to capture the unique cultures and regional nuances from across our four studios, and incorporate them into a highly diverse design team, which can input into any project; regardless of location. Tim Hooson, who notably has built the Interiors team over the past 12 years, will shift his focus to other strategic initiatives for the practice.”
