ManaBus.com Tauranga - Auckland Services Commence

Auckland, 5 December 2014 – ManaBus.com, the new fast, friendly and affordable city to city express coach operator, extends its services from today, with twice daily connections between Auckland and Tauranga.

Two weeks after the company carried its first passengers, ManaBus.com will be traversing the Kaimai Ranges, calling at Hamilton and Manukau on its journey between Tauranga and Auckland.

Geoff Norman, CEO, says that after two weeks on the road, the ManaBus.com team is settling in well.

“We are pleased to extend our service to Tauranga and looking forward to launching in other North Island towns later this month.

“People travelling between the Bay Plenty and Auckland now have the option of being chauffeur-driven, in comfortable coaches with luxury reclining leather seats, free Wi-Fi, at seat power points and air-conditioning, all at really affordable fares.”

Around 70 jobs have been created, with most based in regional centres in the North Island, including three people from the Tauranga area.

Mr Norman says that the company was quite particular about hiring only those who had both the driving skills and the friendly attitude that ManaBus.com and its sister express coach companies in Poland, Finland and the US are known for.

“Great customer service is what we want ManaBus.com to be known for and we were fortunate to hire some very high calibre drivers and attendants from the Bay of Plenty area.

“We know they will look after customers, and get them to their destinations safely and on time. We’re proud of the team that we have assembled.”

All ManaBus.com’s services are express services, with fewer stops and no long breaks in the middle of journeys. This means that ManaBus.com can offer passengers industry-leading travel times at exceptionally low fares. There are no hidden or last minute charges or fees and pricing includes luggage, free Wi-Fi and at-seat power. On selected journeys passengers will be served complimentary refreshments by customer service attendants, including water, tea, coffee and snacks such as cookies, ice cream and bakery items. There are also toilet facilities on every coach.

By 19 December ManaBus.com will serve eight major North Island destinations: Auckland, Manukau, Hamilton, Rotorua, Tauranga, Taupo, Wellington and Whangarei, including seven connections a day between Hamilton and Auckland.
