NZCU South have this month welcomed an additional three members to their senior team.

The new senior recruits have recently begun their roles in Dunedin and Christchurch and NZCU South CEO Tania Dickie believes the trio will build on their already strong business capabilities.

“We’re really excited to have these reinforcements join the team. They all have stellar backgrounds and I’m looking forward to seeing what they bring to the group,” says Ms Dickie.

The new members are Head of Credit and Risk Scott Gasson, Head of Sales & Distribution Rob Gilden and HR Advisor Gina Cavanagh.

Scott Gasson joins NZCU South from Newcastle Permanent Building Society Limited, Australia (one of Australia’s largest Building Societies) where he worked as Collections Manager. Prior to this he worked for Westpac, New Zealand in Auckland. A returning Kiwi, Scott is happy to be back in New Zealand and looks forward to settling into life in the South Island.

“I’m enjoying being in Dunedin so far, it’s great to be back in New Zealand and working for such a strong brand is an exciting prospect,” says Mr Gasson.

Scott brings with him a wealth of banking experience particularly industry best practice in collections philosophy and processes.

Rob Gilden joins NZCU from Exide Batteries where he was the Southern Regions Sales Manager. Rob brings extensive financial services experience within NZ in a number of Senior Sales and Operational positions in the consumer lending market. Rob will head the sales and distribution teams at NZCU South and will be based out of the Christchurch office.
