ServiceIQ helps put the spotlight on qualified Kiwis

ServiceIQ helps put the spotlight on qualified Kiwis

Attention all ServiceIQ achievers: you can now promote your qualifications and skills online by connecting with ServiceIQ’s newly launched LinkedIn Alumni profile page.

ServiceIQ Chief Executive Dean Minchington says the LinkedIn page provides a great opportunity for training graduates to publicise their achievement and skills.

He says: “Qualifying is the point when all the months or years of training and study, while working, pay off and trainees who have upskilled through ServiceIQ programmes can get the recognition they deserve. Successfully completing a training programme and gaining valuable skills is an incredibly important start, or step up, in a person’s career and we are delighted to be able to help them promote their success.”

Every year, thousands of New Zealanders complete ServiceIQ training programmes and gain nationally recognised qualifications to help develop their careers.

As the Industry Training Organisation (ITO) for the service industry, ServiceIQ develops on-the-job training programmes for businesses in these sectors: travel, tourism, aviation, accommodation, hospitality, retail, distribution, museums, clubs, food services, quick-service restaurants. The combined sectors involve around 100,000 businesses, and employ 563,000 people – over a quarter of the entire New Zealand workforce.

ServiceIQ achievers wanting to celebrate and share their skills online should go to https://linkedin.com/edu/serviceiq-151000
