Leading motorhome manufacturers to launch new models

Leading motorhome manufacturer’s to launch new models at Covi SuperShow

TrailLite, Allisee Autohomes, RV Supercentre, SmartRV and Auckland Motor Homes are among a number of leading motorhome and RV industry players who have chosen the Covi SuperShow in Auckland next month to not only exclusively exhibit at the show, but to launch new models for 2015 as well.

The Covi SuperShow General Manager David Culpan said he was very pleased a number of ‘big name industry manufacturers and importers’ have chosen the show to launch brand new models.
“It’s obviously great for us, but it’s also fantastic for the visitors coming who get their first look at a number of exciting new 2015 models for the first time.”

Jayco, who are set to celebrate their 40th Anniversary in 2015, plan to reveal its new motorhome range for 2015 for the first time at the Covi SuperShow. Melbourne based Regional Sales coordinator for Jayco Chris Hooper says the Jayco team is really looking forward to the Auckland show. “It’s the first major show of the year and the timing is perfect for Jayco to release its new updated product range.”

Allisee Autohomes’ new 2015 Allisee Supremacy will be making its debut at the Covi Motorhome SuperShow with Managing Director of the company that manufactures the range, Andrew Fink of Auto Leisure and Marine Group, saying he also thinks the March date works well.

“This is the time of year that piggy backs off the back of a fantastic holiday period that has people enthused about holidaying and motor homing,” he said. “People are also forward planning for next Christmas as well and there’s a real growth in people wanting a piece of the RV lifestyle so we’re excited about the potential.”

TrailLite are launching their new 700 series motorhomes at the show while the Bessacarr 494 and the new 2015 Sterling Eccles Sapphire SE caravan are two of the 2015 range of Swift-built caravans and motorhomes Merit RV are displaying.

SmartRV will be showcasing their range of 2015 Bürstner motorhome models, the RV Super Centre are exhibiting the new KEA Karavan range and newly imported quality European motorhomes from Roller Team and Bailey Caravans will have the latest offerings from the award-winning British caravan manufacturers at the show.

TrailLite General Manager Shaun Newman was another exhibitor to say the March timing of the show worked well for their business and that his team was looking forward to showing off their new 700 series motorhomes.
“It’s a very good show that will kick the year off well for us,” he said. “It’s well targeted and promoted and we’re looking forward to doing some great business.”

The Covi SuperShow has had to add a large marquee to cater for extra exhibitor space for next month’s show being held at Auckland’s ASB Showgrounds. “Interest in the show has just kept building,” Cuplan said. “We’ve changed from a September date and March seems to be working well for everyone so we’re pretty happy.”

The Covi SuperShow - being held between the 13th and 15th of March at the ASB Showgrounds in Greenlane, Auckland - attracts thousands of visitors keen to find out about the latest products and innovations, meet with the industry’s experts and enjoy a taste of what the exciting lifestyle offers.

With 140 exhibitors that includes all of the industry’s leading brands The Covi SuperShow is the only show in New Zealand that has all of New Zealand’s major motorhome and caravan brands on display. Visitors also have the opportunity to win back $10,000 on purchases worth over $30,000 and the chance to win the Ultimate Road Trip, a 59 day MOTEK motorhoming adventure across America, Australia and New Zealand.

The show is the only expo in New Zealand that is endorsed and supported by the New Zealand Motor Caravan Association. The association are running a National Rally in neighbouring Alexandra Park expected to attract more than 700 vehicles, making it the second largest rally of the year in New Zealand with many expected to also attend the Eagles rock concert at Mt Smart Stadium.

“Having the Eagles playing is great timing for the show,” Culpan said. “There’s no doubt many visitors coming to the show are also going to the concert so we’re running complimentary buses from the rally at Alexandra Park to the concert on both Saturday and Sunday nights; it’s going to be a big weekend.”
