A Question of Balance

A Question of Balance

SPEIGHT’S MID ALE IS HERE TO STAY

Due to unprecedented demand, Speight’s is proud to announce that it will be releasing its 2.5% Mid Ale in bottles. Previously introduced on tap at bars around the country in October, the full flavoured mid strength ale has been so popular that Kiwi’s will now be now be able to enjoy Speight’s Mid Ale at home or out and about.

Ben Wheeler from Speight’s says: “Our pre Christmas launch of Speight’s Mid Ale on tap saw extraordinary demand for the product, so the release of a bottled product was naturally the next step. We’ve found consumers have really taken to Mid Ale as they can as they can enjoy a lower alcohol beer that doesn’t compromise on taste.”

Brewed using Crystal, Caramalt and Chocolate malts, Speight’s Mid Ale enjoys a smooth caramelised flavour and aroma, which is contrasted by the bitterness of Pacific Jade and Green Bullet hops. The finished product is a perfectly balanced, mid-strength beer that’s still full of flavour.

Speight’s 2.5% Mid Ale is available in 12 packs in good liquor outlets nationwide RRP $19.99 and on tap at bars around the country.
