Alexandra Park launches first part of its urban village
With Auckland Cup Week upon us, Alexandra Park chief executive Dominque Dowding says talk on course this year is not just about the horses, but stylish new homes with genuine excitement around Alexandra Park’s ‘223 Green Lane West’ urban village development.
Alexandra Park and Colliers International have now announced that ‘East Gate’ is the first precinct being released on the residential market with strong interest so far.
“The East Gate precinct will include a fantastic mix of 1, 2 and 3 bedroom apartments, 3 and 4 bedroom terraces and a series of spectacular penthouses. All of which are overly generous in size and stylish by design,” says Pete Evans, national director of residential project marketing at Colliers International.
The East Gate precinct is being marketed as Alexandra Park’s green front door with its pedestrian-oriented boulevard framed by tall palms, mixed-use buildings and an active street life, says Mr Evans.
“Apartment owners will enjoy a central linear urban park and plaza as well as the convenience and vibrancy of this new urban village with a gourmet grocer, restaurants, cafes, and retail boutiques all within Alexandra Park.
East Gate residents can also expect a range of views across Auckland to the city, the water, One Tree Hill, Cornwall Park and surrounds.
“This will be great living, with seamless integration from private indoor and spacious outdoor living areas separated by unique decorative louvres to control light and privacy. The apartments and terraces will all be beautifully appointed. Each will come with carefully selected colour schemes and finishes to provide a sophisticated platform for people to transform their apartments into their own unique space,” says Pete Evans.
Those wanting to know more about the East Gate precinct can register their interest via www.apliving.co.nz or by phoning 0800-275-484 to obtain further information.
Ms Dowding says Alexandra Park is committed to establishing a world-class 21st century urban village, with 223 Green Lane West set to exude best practice urban-design complete with great walkability, amenities, public spaces, and good public transport links.
She expects strong interest in the East Gate precinct from empty nesters, young urban professionals, as well as families seeking the much sought after double grammar zone.
