Changes at Flight Centre NZ

Flight Centre (NZ) Ltd is pleased to announce the appointment of Dana Duxfield to the position of PR and communications manager.

Ms Duxfield will manage Flight Centre’s media relationships across the country and will also be responsible for the company’s sponsorship portfolio and internal communications.

Ms Duxfield has recently returned home to New Zealand having been living and travelling abroad for the past five years, working most recently in London for the communications agency, markettiers4dc.

“I’m thrilled by the opportunity to be a part of New Zealand’s leading travel retailer and am looking forward to putting my passion for travel to good use.”

“Flight Centre’s strong brand in the New Zealand and global market makes it a very exciting business to be involved with and I look forward contributing to the ongoing success of our brands,” Ms Duxfield said.

Flight Centre’s general manager of marketing, Jodie Burnard, said the position is vital to ensuring the company’s brand continues to grow and the New Zealand media is supported with travel comments where needed.

“As New Zealand’s largest travel retailer, it is important we have a dedicated PR and communications manager who can support our busy activity schedule and manage our charity and sponsorship portfolios,” Ms Burnard said.
