MEETINGS promises ultimate Kiwi welcome

MEETINGS promises ultimate Kiwi welcome

Visitors attending New Zealand's premier business tourism exhibition will be treated to some of the best hospitality the country has to offer.

Conventions and Incentives New Zealand (CINZ) Chief Executive Sue Sullivan says the social programme for CINZ MEETINGS 2015 promises to be the ultimate experience of New Zealand good cheer.

"Caring for our guests is at the heart of our culture. We describe our warm welcome as 'manaakitanga', a Maori word meaning generous hospitality, and a big part of this is providing great food and making our visitors feel at home."

Sue Sullivan says with the help of New Zealand's top creative event specialists, CINZ will be delivering dazzling experiences throughout the event, from the Welcome Function on Tuesday 9 June through to the Gala Dinner on Thursday 11 June.

"We can reveal two of Auckland's top waterfront venues will host the MEETINGS 2015 welcome and gala events."

Hilton Hotel Auckland will be the setting for an evening of contemporary elegance themed by Centrepiece, to start MEETINGS in style.

Two days later Shed 10 is the scene for an edgy urban chic party for the MEETINGS' finale, created by the award-winning Event Impressions team.

"MEETINGS' hospitality is legendary. We have always led the way with our social programme, and our overseas guests in particular are amazed at our hosting throughout the event, from nutritious lunches to energy-boosting morning and afternoon teas.

MEETINGS buyers and exhibitors can also look forward to Mix and Mingle drinks after the first day of scheduled appointments onWednesday 10 June. Interactive food and beverage stations dotted around the show floor will feature regional specialities such as craft beer from Hamilton and Waikato, Pinot Noir from Queenstown, New Zealand's top cheeses from Oamaru, and Marlborough's distinctive Sauvignon Blanc wine.

For day buyers Millennium Hotels and Resorts is again sponsoring and creating a lunchtime showcase of cuisine from all their New Zealand regions. The spectacular lunch will be followed each day by Celebrity Speakers' popular speaker showcase, now open for day buyers and hosted buyers to attend.
