Harcourts opens three new offices in three weeks
It’s been an office opening a week for the past three weeks for New Zealand’s largest real estate company, Harcourts, as the company demonstrates its ongoing confidence in the strong New Zealand property market.
The newest Harcourts offices are located in the fast-growing town of Silverdale just north of Auckland, in Tairua on the Coromandel Peninsula and in the Christchurch suburb of New Brighton.
Harcourts CEO Hayden Duncan says that each of the Harcourts businesses opening a new office has a unique story to tell.
“It’s fantastic to see the continued growth of the Harcourts brand with the opening of these new offices spread across the country.
“As one of the first businesses to re-open in New Brighton since the Canterbury earthquakes, the opening of Harcourts New Brighton represents a significant milestone in the recovery of East Christchurch.
“An increasing number of property owners in the east are now receiving cash settlements and selling their properties as-is where-is. This, coupled with renewed interest from developers, is signalling that the time is right to lay the foundations for a positive future for New Brighton.
“We’re proud to see local and loyal Harcourts Gold Real Estate leading the way returning their business to the area,” says Mr Duncan.
The Harcourts Silverdale office, is the fifth office opened by Harcourts Tandem Realty, which covers the entire coast North of Auckland. The Silverdale office offers a complete range of real estate services including residential, lifestyle, commercial and property management.
“Silverdale and Millwater are within commuting distance to Auckland and the area is under-going rapid development with the construction of high-quality residential property. It makes sense to have a presence there as demand for real estate services increases,” says Mr Duncan.
In Tairua, Harcourts has welcomed an independent real estate business to the brand. Existing local sales consultants, Jenny and Graham Beare part-own and will manage the Harcourts Tairua office.
“The Coromandel is a highly desirable place to live and we expect demand for property in this region to increase as more Auckland property owners look to invest their capital gains in retirement and holiday homes,” says Mr Duncan.
Harcourts is New Zealand’s largest and most trusted real estate brand and has offices in more than 180 locations throughout New Zealand. The company offers real estate services for residential, lifestyle, rural, and commercial properties as well property management services.
Mr Duncan says that with more office locations nationwide than any other real estate business in the country, Harcourts has got the country covered.
“Harcourts outlook for the New Zealand property market is incredibly positive and we have plans to open an additional 10 offices throughout the country over the next 12 months,” says Mr Duncan.
“Our sales consultants have access to a nationwide database of listings and potential buyers to help them to match the right buyer to your property. We have expertise across all forms of real estate and we’re proud to be New Zealand owned and operated for more than 125 years.”
