The NZD has once again underperformed ahead of today’s RBNZ inflation report. In the absence of any meaningful data releases the USD Index rebounded as continued concerns over the situation in Greece weighed on the Euro.

Global equity markets are broadly higher - Dow +0.23%, Nikkei+0.80%, Shanghai -0.59%,FTSE +0.12%, DAX +1.29%, CAC +0.37%

Gold prices are up $2.80 at $1226 an ounce, Oil (WTI) remains steady at $59.70 barrel.

The current indicative mid-rates are:

NZDEUR 0.6520
NZDGBP 0.4715
NZDJPY 88.50
NZDAUD 0.9235
NZDCAD 0.8975
