Simpson Grierson Awards Employment Law Prize
Richard Monigatti is the winner of this year's Simpson Grierson Employment Law Prize.
The award recognises the student with the best overall mark in the University of Auckland's employment law class. Richard was presented with a cheque for $1,500 at a function in the firm's Auckland office today.
Phillipa Muir who heads Simpson Grierson's employment law group handed over the cheque. She says: "We are delighted to support the future career of talented people like Richard. The University of Auckland continues to produce first class students who contribute greatly to the field of employment law."
Richard says of winning the prize: "Winning the Simpson Grierson Employment Law Prize has shown me that my passion translates into excellence. I thank Simpson Grierson for the opportunity and their overall support of my professional growth."
Simpson Grierson has been sponsoring the University of Auckland's Employment Law Prize since 2004.
