Nationwide expansion for JLL project and development services team

Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch, Wednesday 3rd June 2015 – JLL has taken a significant step in furthering the growth of their project and development services (PDS) division nationally as they welcome Sonia Waters to Wellington, Allan Johnson to Christchurch and Stephen Walton to the Auckland team.

Sonia, Stephen and Allan each bring a high level of professionalism and strong experience within the development and project management sector that will make an exceptional impact toward strengthening our services nationwide.”

Sonia Waters has joined the Wellington PDS division as Associate Director. Sonia has a Bachelor of Architecture (hons) and brings with her a wealth of experience with past notable projects including Wellington’s City Housing Group and developing the schedule for Tranz Metro’s railway upgrade. Sonia brings impressive leadership skills and an eye for detail, talents which have attracted clients such as Wellington City Council and Victoria University of Wellington to work on many repeat projects with her.

Stephen Walton has been appointed as the Senior Project Manager for the Auckland PDS division. Stephen has a strong background in developing investment infrastructure, previously working with private equity firms on development projects such as shopping malls, educational and recreational facilities. Stephen’s significant projects include green-star offices, a world trade centre and defence headquarters.

Allan Johnson has joined the Christchurch PDS team as the Branch manager and Associate Director. Allan has a background in civil engineering and has spent much of his career in project management roles in the Christchurch region, working on hospitals, hotels and commercial new build projects. Prior to his new role at JLL, Allan spent seven years as a PM in the Middle East where he worked on large scale hotels and mixed use developments. Allan will be leading the team on existing and new projects, liaising with clients and developing new business.
