Charging ahead
In addition to the free public charger situated in Vector’s visitor car park at Carlton Gore Road in Newmarket, work is continuing on preparing the road for the public EV charger in front of Vector’s headquarters. The roadway is being reconfigured as part of a wider improvement programme and work is continuing at pace to get the charger infrastructure integrated with the road works.
It looks likely that Vector’s second free public charger will be ready for use toward the end of the month. The new charger will see the total number of EV chargers at Vector rise to four. There are two underground for Vector’s electrical vehicle pool cars, and by the end of June, there will be two public car chargers available.
