Gold Awards demonstrate region’s talent
The Wellington Gold Awards have again shown the wide range of business diversity and skills that exist across the region, says Wellington Employers’ Chamber of Commerce Chief Executive John Milford.
“The Chamber would like to congratulate all the finalists and winners.
“It’s significant that businesses from right across the region were represented and went on to win awards.
“Special mention has to be made of the McGuinness brothers, who won the Dominion Post Tribute to Wellington Icon Award for their ongoing commitment to Wellington through their building and development businesses.
“Both IT and sciences were well represented, which is good for the region. These are sectors that are delivering more and lasting benefits for not just the local economy, but for the national economy as well.”
