Parade Your Stallion at Karaka

Parade Your Stallion at Karaka

The Karaka Stallion Parade will be held for the third time at New Zealand Bloodstock prior to the commencement of the Winter Mixed Bloodstock Sale at 12pm on Friday 31 July.

With the new breeding season just around the corner, studmasters are offered the opportunity to parade their sires, young or established, at the Karaka Sales Complex.

Amongst the stallions scheduled to visit Karaka this year are El Roca, Proisir and Little Wonder, three sires commencing their first season at stud this year. Fresh from their stakes winning careers, now is an opportune time for interested parties to be some of the first to cast their eye over these new prospects.

He’s Remarkable, Ferlax, Niagara and Burgundy will all be in attendance again this year giving breeders a unique opportunity to view a range of stallions as the breeding season approaches.

The Karaka Stallion Parade will be captured on film this year, with the footage of each individual stallion available to the studmasters upon request. This new service, provided for free, is a great opportunity to receive some quality footage for studs to use as and when they require.

Below is the list of stallions in this year’s Karaka Stallion Parade.
