Now’s your chance to have a one-off
celebrity artwork hanging at your place, all in the name of
an artfully good cause.
The ANZ Daffodil Day Art Auction
2015, featuring artworks by 30 well-known New Zealanders, is
now live on Trade Me until Wednesday 26 August. Just
enter ‘ANZ Daffodil Day Art Auction’ in the Trade Me
search field. 100% of the proceeds are donated to the Cancer
Society.
The Prime Minister John Key, Dion Nash, Sir Bob
Harvey, Eric Young, Toni Street, Sacha McNeil, Colin
Mathura-Jeffree, P-Money, Suzanne Paul and Urzila Carlson
are just a few of the talented Kiwis who have generously
donated artworks.
The brief for the artists was simple
– there were no rules. They were asked to simply create an
artwork which could be auctioned; it could be a sketch,
painting, pastel, collage, abstract or even a poem or verse.
