Spark launches Sony Xperia™ Z5, ‘Made for Bond’ edition exclusively today

Spark has announced the new Sony Xperia™ Z5 is available in-store and online at www.spark.co.nz from today. The flagship device is an operator exclusive for Spark and also comes with access to exclusive ‘Made for Bond’ themes and content, ahead of the release of the highly anticipated motion picture SPECTRE. Spark will have the Sony Xperia Z5 Compact available from today also.

Both the Z5 and Z5 Compact bring the best in next-generation camera capabilities with Sony’s ™ camera technology,1 built to capture split-second moments at a ground-breaking speed of just 0.03 seconds. 2 Both feature the brand new 23 mega-pixel Exmor RS™ mobile sensor, supporting the fastest autofocus in a leading smartphone,3 which recently received top marks from camera testers DxO.4

Both devices also come with an incredible two-day battery life,5 have the highest rating of IP65 and IP68 for water and dust resistance,6 and a new fingerprint sensor integrated into the power button for easy unlocking and security.

The Z5 however comes with a gorgeous 5.2 inch FHD 1080p display, a huge 3GB of RAM, and an Adreno 430 GPU bringing even more power. Spark customers will also be able to download exclusive ‘Made for Bond’ themes and video content for the Z5 through the Xperia Lounge app for free, bringing a side of sexy to their dynamic and high-tech smartphone.

Spark Acting Head of Devices, Warren Duncan has welcomed the new devices to the Spark range, saying they add to the extensive range of Sony devices on offer from Spark.

The Xperia Z5 will be available for $1199 RRP or under $50 per month for 24 months on a $59.99 Open Term plan. The Xperia Z5 Compact will be available for $999 RRP or under $42 per month for 24 months on a $59.99 Open Term plan.
