Enlighten Designs opens doors in Auckland

Two new hires means dedicated experts “around the corner” for Auckland clients

Hamilton-based, Enlighten Designs has expanded its presence to Auckland by committing to a flexible, shared workspace in Newmarket, announced today.

The three-man Auckland team headed by Craig Gerken has been established to better serve the needs of its Auckland clients. Two new account managers have been hired.

Enlighten Designs CEO, Damon Kelly, says the decision to open doors in Auckland is about further investing in the relationships that make up 20 per cent of Enlighten’s business.

“While Hamilton will continue to be Enlighten’s hub and the place we do a lot of the work, our Auckland space is about making sure we have the right people for our Auckland-based enterprise clients.”

Enlighten Designs’ Auckland enterprise clients include Air New Zealand, Genesis Energy, Maori Television, Vector, Beca and Downer amongst others.

The announcement of Enlighten’s Auckland office comes days after the company was named in the 2015 Deloitte Technology Fast 500 Asia Pacific index.

Damon continues: “With an Auckland office space, more of our Hamilton-based delivery team will make the trip to Auckland as part of its service model going forward.”

“Our staff regularly work with clients at their sites, so with an Auckland presence we can be on-hand to achieve better collaboration between their teams and our product owners, including with Microsoft who we work closely with to solve business issues for many New Zealand companies.”

In 2013 Enlighten Designs was named 'Collaboration & Content Partner of the Year' at the Microsoft Partner Awards.
