Foundation North announces new CFO

Foundation North, one of New Zealand’s largest grant-making organizations supporting the work of not-for-profits, has announced Liam Sheridan as its new Chief Financial Officer.

His duties involve managing all financial activities, including IT and investment management. Leading a small team, Sheridan will also oversee continued improvement to strategy and processes to ensure Foundation North continues to deliver to its communities into the future.

“Liam has worked in a number of private and public sector organizations in New Zealand and the UK, and was recently the CFO at Procare,” says CEO Jennifer Gill.

“His leadership, business and budgeting experience will be a real asset to our work in this sector and our focus on making our region a great place to live.”

The Foundation has current assets of $1.3 billion and has granted almost more than $900 million since inception in 1988.
