FlexiTime Launches New Small Business Payroll Plan

FlexiTime Launches New Small Business Payroll Plan

Fast-growing online payroll company FlexiTime today launched a new offer for NZ small businesses. The Small Business payroll plan aims to make tax compliance easier and payroll more affordable for business owners.

The new plan halves the cost of online payroll from the current pricing offered by FlexiTime and includes an Inland Revenue PAYE filing service. FlexiTime CEO Robert Owen says the new pricing has been made possible through a subsidy paid by Inland Revenue to encourage small businesses to use a PAYE Intermediary. “Inland Revenue has made the subsidy available to improve compliance and ensure that PAYE is paid on time and accurately.”

“We’ve been able to reduce the cost of payroll for small businesses to $10 per month plus $1 per employee, regardless of the number of pay runs. A company with 10 employees would only pay $20 per month with our new plan.

“While New Zealand is generally a great place to run a business, we’re seeing ever-increasing compliance obligations and costs that small business owners are being asked to absorb. We want to buck that trend and make payroll and PAYE compliance simple and affordable.”

Using FlexiTime as a payroll intermediary means that small businesses are not penalised for late payments by Inland Revenue.

“When you consider the reduced risk of non-compliance with the great features of FlexiTime such as automatic public holiday calculations, online employee timesheets, tax-free payroll donations and annual leave tracking, we believe that this pricing makes our Small Business plan by far the best value online payroll solution available in New Zealand.”
