2016 Travel and Tourism Industry Open Day

Friday 19 August 2016

James Cook Hotel Grand Chancellor 2016 Travel and Tourism Industry Open Day

In the spirit of events, the James Cook Hotel Grand Chancellor hosted an Olympic themed open day in mid-August, welcoming Travel Management Companies, Professional Conference Organisers and travel industry partners based in Wellington. It was a day of entertainment with the games streaming live, a photo booth, mini-Olympic game stations, Rio infused cuisine and complimentary Manfredi coffee served throughout the day.

The open day provided a platform to showcase accommodation and conference capabilities, plus update the industry on what’s new at the central Wellington Hotel. Along with the 100% NBS (New Building Standard) seal of approval, Executive Chef Kiran Padhi has curated fresh conference menus and Streamliner is now delivering superior Audio Visual (AV) services throughout all eight event spaces.

The Streamliner team are available on site for AV provisions, which includes wireless HDMI connectivity, Bose professional speakers, 100” 16:9 projection screens and full high definition lumen projectors. Perhaps most impressive is the Surface Mount Device (SMD) technology, with screens in both 2.8mm and 5.9mm pitch, utilised as digital backdrops, pillar wrapping or to totally transform the event space.
