All Blacks Sevens Return to the Runway

All Blacks Sevens Return to the Runway with Surprise Fashion Show

This year’s fashion front-row were treated to a Jockey underwear fashion show featuring the All Blacks Sevens and Jockey’s new women’s ambassador Matilda Rice.

Will Radford, Marketing Manager of Jockey says, “The boys in their Jockeys has become a highlight of New Zealand Fashion Week so of course we brought it back for 2016! This year we were really excited to have Matilda join the players on the catwalk and bring a Kiwi flair to the women’s range. We love how the team brought GAME ON to life.”

GAME ON is Jockey’s latest campaign which takes inspiration from an ‘80’s dodgeball championship and has been brought to life, and to Kiwis’ hands, with an interactive mobile game.

Matilda Rice was recently announced as Jockey’s women’s ambassador and this was her first time taking the runway at fashion week.

“The Jockey show always gets people excited so being part of it this year and joining the All Blacks Sevens on stage was definitely a walk to remember,” she says.

The show was a special one-off showcase within the Resene Designer Runway Show, and closed the official New Zealand Fashion Week.

Jockey is the official off-field sponsor of the All Blacks and All Blacks Sevens.
