Bad Taste Food Awards: It's time to name and shame
Do the claims food marketers use to pass off products as "healthier" choices leave a bad taste in your mouth? Now's your chance to call them out.
Nominations are open for Consumer NZ's inaugural Bad Taste food awards.
Help us lift the lid on claims food marketers use to make products look like better choices.
Your pick might be: a high-sugar cereal promoted as healthy eating; a snack bar boasting its super-fruit content when there's hardly any fruit in it; a box of crackers claiming to be "97% fat-free" when they're full of salt; or unhealthy products bragging about being a "natural" choice.
