Vodafone launches fibre max plans – Gigabit network plans and pricing over UFB

To help customers max out on speed and enjoyment from their fibre connection, Vodafone has today announced the Vodafone fibre max plans – Gigabit network plans and pricing for services across the government backed ultra-fast broadband (UFB) network.

It’s called max as customers who upgrade to the new fibre plan will gain access to some of the fastest residential broadband speeds available.

The Gigabit network service will give customers a consistently great online experience – even when entire households are browsing, streaming content and downloading large files simultaneously.

Vodafone Consumer Director Matt Williams said the company is thrilled to offer super-fast fibre max Gigabit network services to more Kiwi households.

“In October we unveiled our hotly anticipated ‘FibreX Max’ gigabit network plans, which are available to customers within reach of our FibreX network in Wellington, Kapiti and Christchurch.

“Now we are thrilled to be taking the Gigabit network experience to more Kiwis, offering people in reach of the government-backed UFB footprint the chance to upgrade to this extraordinary online experience,” Matt Williams said.

Customers can sign up to a naked unlimited data fibre max gigabit network plan for $139.99 per month on a 12 or 24 month term.

Customers with a Vodafone On Account mobile plan will receive a $10 discount on either fibre max plan.

Vodafone customers with an existing fibre connection at their home can easily upgrade to the fibre max plan by contacting us on 0800 533 010.

Eligible customers who have UFB in their street but are yet to have fibre connected to their home, can sign up for fibre max and free standard installation will be provided.

• Customers can opt for a fibre max unlimited data and home phone plan for $149.99 per month on a 12 or 24 month term.

• Similar to FibreX Max, the fibre max plan is among the fastest connections available to residential homes in New Zealand. Gigabit network describes the network speed capability, and not the actual max speed you will experience. Actual user speeds will vary and are affected by various factors including how you’re connected to the internet, the hardware and software used, number of devices connected, time of day, and where the data is downloaded from.
